Template:Character Carol Fitzpatrick is the Assistant to the Press Secretary under C.J. Cregg, Toby Ziegler and Will Bailey. C.J. believes that she is a poor speller, though she asserts that "I'm a better speller than you give me credit for".

Following on from her career at the White House, Carol then worked as an executive on The Daily Show and has since worked freelancing for the BBC.
