Connie Tate works as a political operative for Bruno Gianelli on various political campaigns, including the 2002 re-election campaign for President Bartlet.

Character[]

Tate has a plucky and determined nature, less emotionally invested in her job than enjoying the strategic manoeuvring and winning. She is smart, capable and unsentimental, which puts her at odds occasionally with the Bartlet Senior Staff, who resent the notion that they need help with the re-election campaign as they are still processing the circumstances of the realisation of the President's illness.

Career[]

Connie studied for many years and holds a Ph.D. in Political Economy from Oxford University in England.[1] (This is a production error: a Doctorate of Philosophy from Oxford is always abbreviated to DPhil, never PhD.)
