Dennis Cockrum played an unnamed military officer in The State Dinner, Manchester (Part I), Gone Quiet and Hartsfield's Landing. He is perhaps best known for his role as one of the villainous Blue Glove Men from the television program Firefly. Dennis has appeared in guest roles in many TV series, such as Married...with Children, Major Dad, Cheers, Dharma & Greg, The King of Queens, The West Wing, and more recently, JAG, NCIS, The Division, Shameless, Men of a Certain Age, and Castle.

Notable film appearances include Daddy Day Care (2003), Paparazzi (2004) Rebound (2005), and, most recently, Keith (2008) and 2014's Angels in Stardust.

Life and careerEdit

Dennis, who was born and raised in Champaign, IL, Received an M.A. in Drama from Eastern Michigan University in 1984, before starting his professional acting career in Chicago with The Court, Victory Gardens, Steppenwolf, Northlight and American Blues Theaters. He has been an ensemble member of American Blues Theater since 1988, and performed in their Jeff winning production of "Tobacco Road" in 2010. (Set and costumes, mid-size play.) Dennis is a member of A.E.A., S.A.G., A.F.T.R.A. and The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
