Ed O'Neill played Governor Eric Baker. He is best known for his role as the main character, Al Bundy, on the sitcom Married... with Children (with Ted McGinley), and currently stars on in the role of Jay Pritchett on Modern Family (with Ty Burrell and Eric Stonestreet). Governor Baker is one of his relatively rare non-comedic roles, which is arguably like the situation with John Goodman.
He also starred in a number of films, including Blue Chips, Wayne's World (with Rob Lowe and Kurt Fuller), Little Giants, The Bone Collector, Spartan (with Clark Gregg) and Redbelt.
