Jack Shearer played an Engineer in the episode And It's Surely to Their Credit. He also has appeared in the movies The Usual Suspects (with Clark Gregg and Castulo Guerra), Heartbreakers (with Elya Baskin) and Star Trek: First Contact (with James Cromwell, Robert Picardo and Don Fischer). He would later reprise his First Contact role on Star Trek: Voyager (also starring Picardo). He also had recurring roles on Ally McBeal, Knots Landing and Midnight Caller (starring Gary Cole).
