Career[]
After appearing on the West Wing at 17 years old, Gallagher later ended up starring in another Aaron Sorkin television work — The Newsroom (2012). Gallagher has starred in acclaimed indie films, including Pieces of April (2004), Short Term 12 (2013) (with Diana-Maria Riva and Frantz Turner), Sadie (2018) and The Miseducation of Cameron Post (2018). In 2007, he won a Tony Award for his performance in Spring Awakening. Gallagher is a musician, currently drumming in the band LAKES.[2]
