Marlee Matlin

Marlee Matlin is an Academy Award winning and Emmy nominated actress who played Joey Lucas on all seven seasons of The West Wing. The deaf actress is best known for her Oscar winning role in Children of a Lesser God, which was her first film role. She co-starred in the television program Reasonable Doubts alongside Mark Harmon. She has been nominated for four Emmys for her appearances on Law and Order: SVU, Seinfeld, The Practice and Picket Fences (starring Tom Skerritt). She also appeared on Dancing With the Stars and was a cast member for the final three seasons of The L Word.
