Career
Parker was signed on to play the recurring role of Gardner during the third season, and was possibly intended to be a cast member, but shooting schedules did not allow for her to appear on the show full-time. Parker was nominated for an Emmy for the role in 2002.[1] Following The West Wing, Parker starred in Showtime drama series Weeds from 2005 to 2012, for which Parker was nominated for an Emmy Award thrice.[1] Parker currently stars in the Broadway play The Sound Inside.[2][3]
