Otto was a 23 year-old communications aide and a lead speechwriter for the Santos campaign during the 2006 Presidential Election. He had a sexual relationship with Louise Thornton that was revealed to the other staffers on Election Night. He was a graduate of Stanford University and hoped to be a White House speechwriter in the incoming Santos Administration.
