Sam Lloyd was an American actor played Bob Engler on the episodes The Crackpots and These Women and The Two Bartlets. He is best known for playing the recurring role of Ted, the lawyer on the television program Scrubs. He also starred in the movies Flubber (with Scott Michael Campbell), Galaxy Quest (with Patrick Breen) and Ex-Terminators (with Glenn Morshower). He had recurring roles on the television programs 3rd Rock From The Sun, Desperate Housewives (starring Felicity Huffman, Steven Culp, Kathryn Joosten and Jamie Denton), Cougar Town and The Middle. He is the nephew of actor Christopher Lloyd.
Lloyd died on Friday May 1, 2020 from a brain tumor.
