The historical figure has 3 T's, the fictional character has 2. The change was never explained.--StG 15:57, 5 April 2006 (UTC)

New Hampshire State Board of Education?

I know it's on his wikipedia page and the 1000+ Wikipedia mirrors, but I can't find the source for the statement that Bartlet served on New Hampshire's Board of Education. He had to have started politics somewhere, and that's the best place, I would just like a source.--Tim Thomason 17:28, 29 September 2006 (UTC)

-- I am reasonably confident that this confusion comes about because of his discussion of Elliot Roush, his first political opponent, running for office in New Hampshire as a school board member where the girls attended school. I don't believe that he ever served as a member of a school board, as he mentions in that episode that he defeated Elliot Roush in his first political campaign when he was elected to the state house. 63.225.112.109 21:07, June 2, 2012 (UTC)

- That episode was The White House Pro-Am, by the way. I'm not sure if we did, but we may want to use the fact that he never lost an election in his life. 18:05, April 11, 2013

Jed's Siblings

The beginning of the wiki described Jed as the younger of two sons, but in "Two Cathedrals", during the flashback when Jed first meets Mrs. Landingham, I am pretty sure that his father introduces him as the 'eldest' son. I'll admit to hearing problems, so I could be wrong, but that might be worth a listen for someone else.63.225.112.109 21:09, June 2, 2012 (UTC)
