Zakes Mokae was a Tony Award winning actor who played Equatorial Kundu's President Nimbala in the episode In This White House. He also starred in the films Cry Freedom, The Serpent and the Rainbow, Outbreak, Waterworld and Krippendorf's Tribe (with Lily Tomlin and Stephen Root). He died due to complications from a stroke on September 11, 2009, following an extended illness.
